Happy Birthday Lindsey #6

Lindsey chose to have a Fairy birthday party.

Dad made Lindsey this Fairy Princess Cake

Mom made each of the girls a fairy skirt. If I had to make them again - which I won't - I would use a more expensive tulle that was less thin/see through.

They had to make themselves some fairy wings.

Then participate in a fairy freeze dance.

They then got to make a fairy bracelet.

St. George

We went with our Ashby family to St. George. JD & Laura were very generous and invited us to stay at her family's vacation home there. At the last minute Chris & Kalli decided not to come because of the weather. We brought Emma with us and Thomas went with Tom & Mine. It was raining for most of our time there, but we did find a couple of breaks in the sunshine.

Cottonwood Cove Park

Heidi told me about this really fun park that we had to go to. It is hard to explain just how cool this park was - but she was right, I'm so glad we went there.

This was dubbed the "Roller Coaster"

I was very impressed that my kids braved the rock wall - with a little help from Uncle Tom.

These spinning chairs were a lot of fun - but man they made you dizzy - or maybe it was just me.

The sliding skateboard was a lot of fun as well.

There was a river running along the side of the park. Great walking trail and exploring to do around the park.

Snow Canyon Sand Dunes

What a boy wants . . .

They started building a house next door to ours. Grant has a bird's eye view from his bedroom window. He spends a lot of his time right here now. What more could a boy ask for?

Vacation to Mars

The 3rd Grade put on a play called "Vacation to Mars." Whitney had a role of Tour Guide. She had a part through out the entire play. She did a great job. The whole play was very well done. Grandma & Grandpa Ashby and Grandma & Grandpa Roberts were both able to come watch her. Dad missed out because he was in Detroit. We recorded it for him so he could watch it later.

I told Grant to put some shoes on then get in the car. I guess I should have checked to see that the shoes matched.

Lindsey & Grant Firsts

Lindsey lost her first tooth on Thursday. She was very excited to finally have lost a tooth.

Grant got a new big bed. He is very proud to be a big boy that has a big bed.
