Summer Fun

I told the kids that we would try to do at least one fun things each week of summer. It is just enough that they have something to look forward to, and don't get too bored. Hopefully we can come up with stuff to do that doesn't cost a lot of money!

They also have their summer jobs that we started up again. I have given each of them their own folder. Inside the folder they have a page with their "Jobs" and they have a "Personal" page. The jobs include cleaning room, dishes, bathrooms, floors etc. The personal includes brushing teeth, reading 20 minutes, exercise, a learning page (rotates between math worksheet, handwriting worksheet, practice typing, write a letter to someone or writing in their journal), they have to set a goal each week of something they want to work on i.e. learning to ride a bike, practicing volleyball, cartwheels, soccer etc. Hopefully this gives them lots of things they can do each day so they aren't completely bored this summer.
