We went camping with the Sabey's and Grandma Roberts up to Smith & Moorehouse Campground in the Uintahs. We decided it was time we got a new tent. Of course Dad thought it necessary to get the 16 man tent. We had plenty of room in our tent for our family, Grandma and Makayla, with a little room to spare. It was dubbed the Ashby Hilton.
Badmitten was a big hit.
Arts & Crafts to entertain the kids
We borrowed my cousin Melinda's Canoe. The weather didn't really cooperate, so we were only able to go out on the lake once. The canoe was a lot of fun.
This summer was a drought year. Very little rain and lots of wild fires. Except for the weekend that we decided to go camping. It rained and rained. We had to come back a little early because of all the rain. We can't complain too much because we really needed the rain. We had to dry everything out when we got back. We were a muddy muddy mess!
