We were in limbo this summer trying to figure out when Grant was going to have his surgery. We didn't have time to plan a vacation for our family. We decided to just stay home and enjoy the wonders of Utah. The kids made a list of all the things (within reason) that they wanted to do before Summer ended and we set to work to make it happen. First rule that the kids had - was no technology. All of our iDevices were shut off for the duration of the vacation. It was actually a welcome break from the world.
First stop, one more visit to Trafalga.
Back at home, mom and the kids watched Wizard of Oz while Dad went to a Stake Priesthood Meeting. We realized when we went to Wicked, that our children had never seen the movie. It's been ages since I've seen it too, so it was fun.
